Promoting technical excellence
The Fact Technical Society was formed
in 1948 by the socially committed technocrats of FACT with an objective to make the members to keep pace with the fast growing technological developments in the industrial field.
Eminent technocrats like Mr. Sheshasayee, Kasturi Rangan, M.K.K. Nayar, Padmasree Paul Pothen, Dr. P. K. Narayana Swami were associated with Society either as member or as officials.
Nobel Laureate Dr C.V. Raman and great scientists like Dr Homi J Bhaba,
Dr Raja Ramanna, Dr. Madhavan Nair are among the long list of great personalities who have had delivered technical lectures to the members of the Society.
Born a few months after the independence of our nation, FACT Technical Society has seen many milestones of industrial progress in and around our area and would like to be seen instrumental in further industrialisation based on modern technology with special emphasis on 'green thumb' and industrial safety, still we have "miles to go".
